Carmen faces a trial like no other as she carries on the mission entrusted to her by her friends, the Thirteen Roses: to ensure that their names are never erased from history.

Synopsis

One morning, Carmen wakes in Las Ventas Prison to the news that she must appear before a court. There, she remembers the mission entrusted to her by her friends, the Thirteen Roses, before they were executed: “May our names never be erased from history.”

We follow Carmen through a trial like no other, where she fights, cries, laughs, suffers, shouts, loves and lives. Because “Life is beautiful, and we must do everything in our power to preserve it.”
